Kids' Public Speaking (Veranito)

One stage. A thousand ideas. A voice that dares.

¡ACCIÓN! is the Veranito 2027 programme in public speaking and stage expression: an intensive, 100% hands-on course for children and teens ages 9 to 14.

Objective. To build confidence, spoken expression, creativity and spontaneity through hands-on work in public speaking, theatre and improv — developing conscious use of the voice and body, imagination, listening, and the ability to hold their own in front of other people.

Areas we work on.

• Public speaking — voice, diction, intonation, rhythm, posture, eye contact, confidence, storytelling and persuasion.
• Theatre — body and facial expression, emotions, characters, stage voice, use of space and stage presence.
• Improv — spontaneity, listening, reaction, quick thinking, handling mistakes and building scenes without a script.
• Creativity — stories, humour, imaginary objects, original characters, creative solutions and teamwork.

Method. 100% practical, participatory and playful. Technical content is introduced briefly and applied immediately through games, scenes, challenges and communication exercises. Each 2-hour session combines a warm-up game, a public-speaking challenge, theatre, improv and a creative challenge.

The course runs on Saturdays 16, 23 and 30 January and 13 and 20 February 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at PH Centrum Tower, El Cangrejo, Panama City. That is 10 hours in total, and places are limited.

The full course costs $240, or $200 with early payment if you pay in full before 30 November 2026. If you enroll two siblings, the first pays $240 and the second $190.

Classes are taught in Spanish.
